Ate lunch at this Asian restaurant during a visit to Omaha and it was great! They offer a wide variety of dishes from sushi, to poke bowls, to fried rice, to ramen, and even more. I ordered a tun/salmon poke bowl and it was excellent. The fish and other ingredients tasted fresh and it was all well prepared. My son ordered a ramen bowl, his first time eating ramen, and he was super impressed and loved what he got. My daughter ordered the shrimp fried rice and loved it as well. We ordered appetizers too, crab rangoon and harumaki, and they were all enjoyed as well. The service was quick and friendly. We did not have to wait for a table and we were served drinks soon after we were seated. The restaurant was clean and well organized. Its location is great because before or after you eat, there are other places like dessert shops and attractions that are within walking distance. Overall, it was a great stop and I would highly recommend it.

We love Akurai! My favorite is the make your own poke bowl. My husband loves the Chashu Don. We have never had a meal here we didn't love. All of the menu items are great! The staff and friendly and on top of it. The only drawbacks would be parking is a nightmare, and we honestly find the chairs really uncomfortable. The food is well worth it! We also love ordering online and taking it to go.

What a neat atmosphere and vibe, and delicious food. I was surprised to see their menu was rather large wit lots of variety... they serve boba teas, poke bowls, sushi, ramen, udon noodles, fried rice, and an assortment of appetizers. The only downside to their many options on the menu is only two options for kids meals. Teiyaki chicken with rice or their deep fried chicken with fries. It would be nice if they had a kids ramen, kids fried rice, a sushi bento box, or more options for the kiddos. On to the food, we ordered the crab rangoon and my husband really enjoyed them. We also ordered the husker roll to try and like it. The sushi was two bite pieces for me. I ordered the spicy chicken katsu ramen, and my husband ordered the Akarui ramen. My kiddo got the combo b which was karaage chicken, deep fried chicken nuggets and French fries. He really liked the fries but didn’t care for the chicken. I thought it was good, definitely different. Both of our ramen bowls were delicious, it’s a lot of food and more than an enough amount. I took half of mine and his to go home, but ramen really isn’t a to go food... the texture of the noodles doesn’t last and then it’s meh. We could share one bowl for both of us next time. It was great and we were both happy to have tried somewhere new, can’t wait to try a poke bowl & other things on their menu!

Came in and they were cleaning but luckily it was still open because this food was so good and perfect after a long flight. The spicy miso ramen and smoothie drinks were excellent! If I could give more stars I would. Highly recommend, reminds me of food in LA

Stopped here before a concert and one of the best decisions made! The lovely girlfriend and I got shrimp fried rice and amazing steamed dumplings, and each ordered a few orders of sushi. All of it had been out of this world and a good value for what you get. Will be back to try other dishes. The service had also been so friendly and attentive. If in the area, give it a try!!

This is a little gem with a variety of dishes to suit any tastes. The servers were very attentive and took my annoying food allergies in stride.
